The reason why this resolution was a bad idea from the start is because those, as you put it, “military ‘yes’ men and idiots” happen to control the legislature. Unfortunately, when in politics, one must play the game of politics. In this case, Steen Miles played it poorly and hurt her party in the process.

From that time on, I sought to investigate why military vets/active personnel would have such open animosity towards a female, and her fervent anti-war stance. Personally, I agree with Ms. Fonda–and I am a military vet (Navy).

I sure hope the Washington Times article isn’t correct, where it says Sen. Miles eventually voted against the resolution? Unless, that is, she voted against how her colleagues wanted to honor her; or some other damaging technicality.

Demonstrating the ignorance of military personnel is not a difficult job. Military personnel are paid to take orders, kill any alleged ‘enemy,’ invade and dysfunctionalize anyone’s homeland–without remorse or consciousness. The key point above is, they are not paid to think. Therefore, they are like humanoids, androids, robots. Programmed to do…whatever. No morality exercised.

Then too, if Sister Fonda is wrong and below being respectfully recognized, isn’t MLKJ, Mohondas K. Gandhi, Christ Jesus, and all the other non-violent, Godly people of the world?

Only the military “yes” men and idiots hold a grudge or disagree with Sis. Fonda. I will always respect and treasure her existence and heart on this planet. Even if the pro military warmongers don’t appreciate her vigor and heart, Thee Almighty and His disciples, apostles, angels will.
